I had a chance to finish up the pj's from One Yard Wonders. I am actually really happy with how they turned out. They weren't too difficult to make but I did have to tear out and re-sew a few seams here and there. I don't sew that much so this is par for the course for me. A more experienced seamstress could knock these out in no time flat. Now we just need some warmer weather!
I am expecting my first calendar panels for 2011 to arrive from Spoonflower this week too - so excited! I have my example calendars all planned out in my head now I just need to get those panels in my hands so I can start stitching. I wanted to have them in the shop by the end of the month but...um, it might be April before they get there.
It is also Spring Break this week so I am not sure how much crafting will get done. I'm looking forward to the coming days though. This will be a nice preview of of what to expect over Summer vacation. Yikes, did I just write "Summer vacation"? It will be here before we know it!

i'm so excited to hear about the calendars: i actually cheered, and then felt sheepish about it. :)
congrats on the pj's and the napping toddler, hope it holds out!
Very nice! I have that top on my to-make list too paired with the shorts that are on next page...can't wait to get started, but right now it's all about quilting in preparation for International Quilt Market in May.
I have also found it to be very quiet in blog land! I haven't blogged in just over a week and it definitely feels weird.
Those same patterns have been calling my name for some time now. Your PJs turned out lovely!
those pjs are so lovely! well done! hear about those calendars are great!!
good~ keep sharing with us, please....I will waiting your up date everyday!! Have a nice day........................................
Lovely PJs! Yes, it's been very very quiet the last week - On Etsy and in blogland. Feels strange. Can't wait to see your calendars, I'm sure they'll be beautiful!
Cute pjs! I've been putting off making any until the weather is warmer, but I definitely want to give these patterns a try.
Thanks everyone for the nice words about these fun pj's! I hope to try at least one other project from "One Yard Wonders" so I will be sure to share that as well. We'll see if I get to it or not ;)
These are darling! I am stuck in the middle of this pattern & hope you can provide a quick tip...I am right at the point where I'm attaching the gathered trianges to the bodice and they do not reach the side seams by any stretch of the imagination. Once I add the elastic band, will it all be OK, do you think?
Gratefully,

Found your post via the OYW group on Facebook ... you've inspired me to make a set of PJs too. I saw the top and thought it was pretty but decided it was too low for me in the front to wear during the day ... perfect for night time though! Lovely!
These are lovely, very pretty. I think you need to be eating croissants and reading the sunday papers when you wear them :)
I just bought that book on Sunday! I don't know what to do first from it!
I'm still wondering whether or not I will buy that book, but looking at those lovely pajamas makes me think I really should. They are very cute, love that fabric!
Croissants and the Sunday paper - oh my gosh, that sounds downright dreamy - I haven't done that in YEARS - in any sort of clothing. But maybe I should now that I have these! :)
And Meredith, I struggled a bit with that part too - that was one of the seams I had to take out and re-sew. It doesn't seem like it will work but it somehow does. When I pinned the triange pieces I pinned one end right on that side seam of the skirt and the other end in the middle front of the skirt - just those two places - even though it seemed akward. Somehow as you adjust the gathers it comes together. I spent a lot of time adjusting the gathers and pinning the rest but I ended up getting it to fit. I hope that helps :)
guess what.... I gave you an award. Because I love your blog.
